2) Please identify the statement that most closely matches your views on education:

a. The primary way to improve our education system is through more investment. Until we spend more money on our schools and raise teacher pay, other reforms will not work.
b. The primary way to improve our education system is through reforms, higher standards and more accountability for teachers, students, parents and administrators. Simply spending more money on the same system will not bring us better results.
c. The way to improve our education system is through more investment and reforms. Either done without the other will not alone develop the education system we need.

3) Please identify the statement that most closely matches your views on taxes and public spending:

a. Yes, we need a tax cut. Oklahoma’s current annual budget of $7 billion is large enough for a state our size; it should not grow and taxes should be cut to ensure that it doesn’t.
b. No, we don’t need tax cuts. Oklahoma has many needs in areas like roads, education and health care, and there should be no tax cut until funding can be increased in these and other areas.
c. We should do some of both. As our economy grows, some of the additional money should be used to increase spending in key areas and some should be given back through targeted cuts like reducing the state income tax.

4) On the issue of lawsuit reform, with which of the following statements do you most agree:

a. The rights of victims and injured workers deserve the most protection possible. Any reforms would lesson those rights, while protecting corporations and insurance companies, should not be implemented.
b. Oklahoma has an unlevel playing field in the courtroom that favors lawyers and unfairly punishes people who have to defend lawsuits. Until we have legal reform, we will continue driving out employers, doctors and businesses.
